1960 rolls royce, silver cloud ll, long wheel base, factory left hand drive. Engine # 562. This is a rare car and very few were built. I purchased the car from Wild Child automotive in Colorado who published the following; This is a complete Rolls Royce 1960 that has been completely disassembled. The body and frame were media blasted to remove all paint and rust. Any rust found was cut out and new panels fabricated to restore the factory strength and appearance. The body was placed in a rotisserie to ensure all areas were professionally cleaned and coated. While the body was off , the entire chassis was rebuilt. The engine,transmission and rear differential were all professionally rebuilt and have 0 miles.
the steering box was disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new gaskets and seals. Disk breaks were added to all four wheels ( I have the original hubs and breaks). The original wood interior is complete but would be best refinished. All exterior trim and grill in very good condition but should be polished.The body has been professionally straightened including primed and block sanded several times to ensure that it is straight. The previous owner invested over $100,000.00 in this project before losing interest. The glass is in good condition. I acquired the car approx four years ago and entrusted it to a restorer in Yuma, Az. who until recently has been working on it.The entire car is sound deadened with second skin matting. It has been completely rewired including updated relays and fuse panel. Air conditioning was provide by Classic air in the front and rear utilizing the existing factory ducting ( no unsightly box hanging under the dash). The twin SU carburetors (very thirsty)were replaced with a two barrel Holly 500 carburetor. the original SU carbs and manifold will go with the car. The front bench seat was replaced with twin seats incorporating the belt in the seat. ( the original seat could could easily be replace at this stage. The original steering wheel is mounted in the car and I have a custom NARDI wheel with RR logo that will go with the car. Power steering ram was rebuilt and restored. Electronic ignition, New stainless Steele exhaust system installed. Original heater rebuilt and restored. All insulation and vents under the dash has been replaced. Cruise control, front and rear cameras and too many more items to list are included.
