Used 2002 BMW 525iT Wagon for Parts or Repair for sale in Holliston, MA

First things first. Car needs a transmission and will need to be towed. If you don't have a way to get it towed, you should not read further.
Second, I will NOT part this car. It is sold as is, where is, in a complete form as it sits.

DETAILS:
For sale is a 2002 BMW 525 Wagon with M-Sport package. 22x,000 miles, I am the second owner from about 34k miles. Always fully-synthetic oil changes every 5k mi, premium gas, all necessary repairs and scheduled maintenance performed according to factory's Inspection I and II intervals.
Past months, the following notable items were replaced:
- rear air springs;
- self-leveling suspension compressor;
- rebuilt ABS/DSC control unit;
- ignition coils and spark plugs;
- all drivetrain fluids;
- fuel pump and sending unit;
- brand new Bosch battery;

Suspension and cooling systems have also been refreshed in the past two years. Heated sport seats that work in great condition. No tears or destroyed side cushions. M-Sport steering wheel isn't beat to death. All components work as they should, including heat and A/C and Xenon headlights.

Bad news: car needs an automatic transmission. I intended to replace it with a used one but had not had time to do so, and the car has been sitting for the past 6 months. Also, there are a number of areas with rust that is common on these models, and front windshield has two cracks. I intentionally took the closeup pictures of affected areas, so you have an idea of the vehicle's condition. Car currently sits on winter steel wheels with Hakkapeliitta studded tires. Original Style 81 sport 17" wheels with fresh Continental summer tires are included.
It has been the most reliable BMW I've ever owned. You can replace the transmission or convert it to manual and have many more years of service. Or you can part it out or use it for spares for your own E39 wagon, as these are starting to get harder to find in good shape, and factory prices are getting more expensive.

In case I wasn't clear originally, car starts and runs fine but has no forward/reverse gears and will need to be towed. You can rent U-Haul and tow it yourself, or pay a towing company to do it for you. Obviously, car is sold as is/where is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
