This classic style Jeep Cherokee has been very well maintained, and all of the maintenance has been performed as suggested by the manufacturer. This is a GREAT VALUE! These Jeep's are built to last and has the 4.0L inline 6 cylinder, this engine has been described as bullet proof by most Jeep enthusiasts! The exterior is in good shape having wear and tear consistent with the year. We have driven this vehicle for about 20 miles the engine starts and runs as designed without any hesitation, the transmission shifts smooth through all of the gears without issue. At highway speeds this vehicle drives great and straight with no unusual noises, it also drives well around town. I would not hesitate to drive this any long distance and back. Within the last 10 miles we have had it inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The technician put it on a lift to inspect the underside of the engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level as well as the condition of the transfer case, and differential, all were full and clean. He replaced the oil, filter, and cabin air filter as well. New Battery has also been installed as well as a new valve cover gasket. The overall feel of the steering is tight and it drives smooth. If you are looking for a well kept 4 wheel drive old school Jeep for you or your family this is an excellent choice for the next 100,000+ miles.
