Vehicle Description
Everything works great and the van is mechanically sound besides some minor cosmetic problems and the only real problem is rust in the back window which can be saved a few different ways.
Despite the 206k miles on the van, these Vanagons have lasted 300-400k if maintained correctly. The previous owner before me had the van for around 15 years and she kept it in very good shape. The motor was rebuilt about 14-15k miles ago before I purchased it and a full tune-up was done in summer 2019 including filters, oil, fluids, coolant, exhaust pipe upgrade, and brand new battery.
On top of that, I've added wood shelves, new vinyl plank flooring and a lot of accessories from GoWesty.com including an auxiliary battery kit for a backup 2nd battery you can install under the driver seat, but I didn't get a chance to do that. I have all receipts including the engine rebuild and can provide them upon request.
