Hate to sell this thing but we just had a baby and don’t see us using this much anymore. I purchased the van in 2001 from the original owner. And has 192,000 original miles now.

The good

No rust, original paint (except matching rhino liner on rocker panels), no body damage other than some scratches, rock chips, etc. I have around $40k worth of gowesty receipts of mostly all mechanical work done in 2008. I did just recently have gowesty rebuild the motor (2016). I’ve got about 10,000 miles on the rebuild. Below is the list of most of the stuff done to it around 2008 at 127,000 miles. Stainless steel exhaust done 10K ago. Another really cool thing about this van is that it is a Canadian model which has a stock heater booster. The heater booster is a stock heating furnace that VW put in these models. We use it all the time in the winter and it gets really really warm.

The bad

I’ve put almost all the money into mechanical things, like $40k worth. The interior is extremely nice but I have neglected fixing some of the small things on the interior as they’ve come up. A few minor things need attention. Screen on canvas pop top is ripped, probably needs a carpet kit, almost all the interior camper bulbs are burned out, inverter quit working recently, vinyl trim on the interior is old and needs replacing, sink needs a new pump etc. all minor stuff that’s easy to fix, just haven’t taken the time to do it.
I’m going to start working on those items that need repair when I have time.
