1981 Porsche 928, 119k miles, automatic transmission, Rare Non sunroof car, Single drivers side mirror car, A/c converted to 134a blows cold, AM/FM Bluetooth hidden stereo, original non functioning stereo in console for factory look. This car is in beautiful shape , Paint shows it's age but is still in good shape. I have driven this car on long road trips with no issues. Interior is in great shape, power front seats work, no rips or tears. No cracks in dash or instrument pod. Everything works on the car, power windows, cruise control, power door locks, Power mirror. This is a great early Porsche 928.

A majority of the issues that effect old 928's have already been addressed. You won't be disappointed in this car. Oil changes were done with Mobil 1 since we bought it with 22k original miles. An independent shop in New England is where the maintenance was performed during the early years. The maintenance I have performed is all done per Porsche factory 928 shop manuals.

Brakes
1) Brake calipers rebuilt and painted
2) Replaced rubber brake lines

Suspension
1) Replaced upper control arms with rebuilt units
2) Replaced lower ball joints with steel units
3) Replaced front and rear shocks (Boge)
4) Replaced front tires 2 years ago, and replaced rear tires 2 months ago( Fronts dated 2017 Rear dated 2018)
5) Replaced steering rack with rebuilt unit (928 International)
6) Replaced steering rack boots
7) Replaced outer tie rod ends
8) Replaced all 4 axle boots, cleaned and lubed CV joints

Engine
1) Replaced engine gaskets and seals with Victor Reinz kit
2) Replaced motor mounts with rebuilt units from 928Rus
3) Replaced all vacuum lines with silicone kit from 928 Motorsports
4) Replaced all coolant hoses
5) Replaced heater valve with metal unit from 928 Motorsports
6) Replaced fuel injector hoses on individual injectors
7) Had rubber fuel lines repaired by EL Johnston Inc. Pressure and Return. ( Rubber section replaced with proper crimps on hard lines)
8) Replaced fuel injector electrical connectors from 928 Motorsports
9) Replaced both fuel pressure regulators and dampener
10) Replaced fuel pump relay
11) Replaced timing belt 4 years ago(Contitech)
12) Replaced right motor stabilizer shock
13) Replaced intake rubber boots(8 on the intake spider)
14) Replaced oil separator to plenum, and oil filler hoses
15) Replaced front engine wire harness with unit manufactured by Kroon Wire Harness
16) Replaced green wire from distributor
17) Replaced starter with Bosch rebuilt unit
18) Replaced exhaust studs with Stainless steel kit from 928 Motorsports
19) Replaced engine bay hood insulation liner with OEM style from 928sRus
20) Replaced main battery
21) Replaced voltage regulator on alternator
22) Replaced various relays including the duel headlight relay
23) Sent out the cruise control module to Automotive Scientific Inc. for repair. Has lifetime warranty (works great)
24) Replaced fuel lines on top of fuel tank

Air Conditioning
1) Replaced A/C system with Griffiths unit. (converted to 134A system) Cools great
2) Repaired A/C rubber section of hard lines by EL Johnston Inc.
3) Replaced HVAC blower
4) Replaced expansion valve
5) Flushed all A/C components with A/C flush chemical extensively. System has worked flawlessly for 4 years now.

Interior
1) Replaced dash with good used unit
2) Replaced dash pod with good used unit.
3) Replaced factory speakers with infinity series unit in doors and in B pillars
4) Replaced front drivers and passenger seats out of a 1983 model 928( upgraded to power units) No rips or tears
5) Replaced window switches
6) Installed hidden stereo, Original is just Faux unit but is the correct model for the car.
7) Reinforced door pockets with steel bracket from 928sRus
8) Replaced odometer gear( common failure on 928s) mileage is correct
