This a a great driver's car, and it is mechanically sound. The car is equipped with the factory optioned "knock-off" wire wheels and factory installed 4 speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. This transmission is a highly desired option, as the car can travel at highway speeds without over-revving the engine.
The paint shines well, but it does have some mismatched color panels. Also it does have some dings and dents for a 40 year old car. The convertible top is a tan color and does not have any rips tears or issues. The body has zero rust and still retains the factory undercoating on the floor pans and underside of the car. We have a lift at the house, and we will certainly put it up in the air for review.
The interior is finished in black and shows well with limited wear and tear. The dash does have some cracking in the corners, but the main top of the dash is flawless. Aftermarket radio installed. Everything works as it should. The MGB comes with a clear Michigan title. We think the car originated in Alabama, and spent the majority of its life in Northern Michigan. The car has NEVER been driven in the winter or exposed to salt. This car was a summer car only, and it was used to transport our family to the lakes and beaches near Lake Michigan. We are in the process of moving to NC, and the car has been adult driven since owned by our family.
Recent work has been completed on the car, and we do have the service history for the car for the last 10 years. Below are the recent service items:
1.) Fresh oil change with 20W-50 oil supplied from Moss Motors
2.) Upper and Lower control arm trunions (bushing and pins) replaced
3.) Lower Control arm bushing replaced
4.) Oil Pan resealed
5.) Rear Differential fluid changed and new differential gasket
6.) Brand new brakes including rotors, pads, and hardware from Moss Motors
