Vehicle Description
. The 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 is a rare survivor that runs, drives stops great and is very reliable. You can use as a daily driver/work vehicle or maybe pull up at a car show towing another antique. Its a Cherokee. Some 1970s Cherokees were full size like Wagoneers. It has a 360 v8 (5.9 liter) carburated with a 4 speed stick shift on the floor. It has manual crank windows including for the back hatch door. All 5 windows and 5 doors work great. The windshield doesn't have any cranks. It does have rust but the frame is solid and replacement sheetmetal pieces are cheap. It doesn't do anything weird when you drive it. All of the dashboard gauges , lights including trailer lights work. I drove it back from Denver towing a Pathfinder and it did great. I just left the Colorado antique tag on it as its neat but it's in my name with a clear Mississippi title. It has a 5 digit odometer showing 36,000. I'm assuming that it went over once as it runs too good to be more than that. I have the original front bench seat. It is $5000.
