Used 1973 Karmann Ghia Convertible for sale in La Mesa, CA
Vehicle Description
Floors will need to be replaced, a previous owner welded in sheet metal "patches" but it looks terrible and there is still a hole in the drivers floor. Some bubbling on the rocker panels is present.
Ok the bad is out of the way, engine is a 1915cc with lightened flywheel, auto linea heads with scat adjustable rockers, JayCee push rod tubes, chomoly push rods, deep sump (removed) Ed Hanson custom exhaust and also comes with the stock 1600 dual port engine 99% complete but the stock engine has a knock.
I have replaced the following parts with new;
Rancho pro street freeway flyer 3:88 ring and pinion and new axles
Kustom1 2" narrowed front beam with new 2" drop spindles, adjusters, torsion bars, ball joints, rotors and calipers
Master cylinder and brake hoses, KYB shocks
Fuel filler hoses, fuel hoses, Carter rotary fuel pump, fuel filters, Weber 40 idf carbs, linkage, manifolds, air cleaners
CB Magnaspark distributor, coil, billet coil mount/fuel pump block off, Interstate battery
Powder coated original sheet metal with factory doghouse cooler and new oil cooler, alternator, fan, aluminum pulley
Michelin 135 SR15 front tires, 165 SR15 rear tires
I have many more new parts and used parts that came off and were still in working order. The previous owner had redone the interior and convertible top but the window on the convertible will need to be replaced. Car is running and driving.
