The Body, Including the Front Nose, Seems to Have Had No Previous Major Accident Damage. The Black Paint Is Showing Its Age. Being a 45 Year Old Classic, and Does Have Dings and Scratches. The Rear Engine Lid Had a Previous Fender Bender and Can Be Easily Straighten Out or Replaced. Unfortunately, at That Time, a Salvage Status was Issued in 2011. DMV Paperwork Has Been Processed and No Back Fees Are Owed. A Brake and Light Inspection By an Authorized Shop Is Required Though. A Nice, New Paint Job Would Really Set Off the Classic Karmann Ghia's Bodylines!! It Still Sports the Stock Volkswagen Chrome Steel Wheels. The Desirable 4 Speed Transmission Shifts Fine, and the 1600cc Runs, But Should Be Tuned to the Newly Installed Carburetor.
