Vehicle Description
A neighbor came to our shop (Shamrock Automotive) and indicated she had two old cars that her husband left her after he passed away. One was a 1970 Corvette Stingray Convertible (4 speed) and the other was this 1954 Corvette in pristine, albeit dirty, condition. She was shocked to hear of their worth and I promised to get them up and running for a new owner. I sold the 70 Vette in a day after 2 Corvette experts got her up and running again and now they have finished working on the 54. Quite a bit of work was performed on the 54 including the following:
-brand new top
-new brakes all the way around
-new gas tank and fuel system from carb to tank
-rebuilt all 3 carburetors
-new wheel cylinders
-new master cylinder
-new water pump
-new battery
-new points/condenser
-new accelerator pedal
-full detail
-in all, about $7,000 was spent to make sure she's turnkey
As you can see from the undercarriage, body and interior, this is an all-original Corvette with only 53K on the odometer that has been refreshed by two professional Corvette mechanics. The build date on this Vette is May 26th, 1954 and I have a clean green Michigan title that's ready for the new owner.
