Vehicle Description
Excellent foundation for a beginner conversion van project:
5.8L v8, 1988 Ford Clubwagon XL (e350) with dual tanks and conversion foundation
**open to trades and counter-offers; need small, dependable car (looking at a Fiero currently)
Replaced:
-Battery
-Alternator
-Tires (10 ply!)
-Fuel pumps
-EGR, MAP, thermostat, PCV valve
-seats
-many other now-new parts (original engine and transmission)
Added:
-1000 watt pure sinewave inverter/converter w/ automatic transfer switch
-150 ah battery (charges off alternator when truck's on!)
-two 120v outlet pairs and oldschool soundsystem
-tow hitch, glass packs, ladder, CB (disconnected)
-kitchenette w/ sink (comes with water pump, some plumbing, and fittings)
-Insulation and vapor barrier on bottom half (R5 all around bottom and floor)
-Plywood floor, convertible bench/bed w/ storage
-ceiling vent fan
Problems are still always being worked on so ask for specifics. Major problem is only a bit of oil leakage and a noisy power steering. (Steering wheel is currently crooked because I never bothered to spend the five minutes fixing it, horn doesn't work, speakers are quiet- IT'S STILL A PROJECT BUT THE FOUNDATION IS DEFINITELY THERE)
