Want to talk about history? El Cajon Harley-Davidson began as most things do, something else. In 1946 a young farm boy named Chuck Holenda came here from Iowa and decided to settle down here in southern California.

To make ends meet he worked on motorcycles and eventually was put in charge of the the original location in La Mesa for a few years. After a Short time Chuck was approached by Burt Johnston, who sold him his Harley-Davidson franchise.

He stayed at the original location until 1948 when he moved the Harley-Davidson dealership to a bigger, brighter and much nicer facility. And we have been making dreams come true ever since...
