Off the Bat
This truck is a couple hours west in Hyampom, CA . not Redding. I posted this here so that its not just Hayfork and Hyampom residents hitting me up trying to trade me their mountain road beat ass Expedition or what have they.
Trade is ideal and would probably fall well in the favor of anyone with anything meeting the criteria. REGISTERED for at least a few months more. RELIABLE in the sense that you wouldnt think twice about taking it on a cross country trip. ROOM FOR CARGO - truck, Van, Wagon, Range Rover, etc. Id be willing to put up to a few grand on top if thats what it calls for and likewise would be asked if the opposite is true . but im willing to work with you so that you leave here stoked.

THE TRUCK IN GENERAL

The truck is a workhorse. Its not been kept in a garage or washed every sunday. Its got plenty of minor dents/scratches and a few issues you’ll want to address before you put it to work. The powerstroke diesel is solid as ever though and hasnt given me any problems in the past 3 years.

PROS

If youre familiar with these trucks around this time you know that Ford was testing out a new model transmission that lasted just a couple years before they decided to scratch it and go back to old faithful. These trucks all end up needing a new transmission at some point. This one held tough but started going out on me last year so i took it to Pro Trans in Redding and spent $3800 to have it replaced. So to date, the transmission has roughly 300 miles on it.
Power windows. Power locks. Power mirrors. Sterio system sounds great. SuperCrew Cab fits 6 full grown men with room to spare. Ac works. interior (see pics) is suprisingly well kept besides a tear in the drivers side. Lots more and Lots to Love.

CONS

When Pro Trans, who I DO NOT recommend btw, put my transmission in the guys must not have gone back through and bolted everything in a final time because 250 miles later driving down a winding mountain road the rear drive shaft fell out of the vehicle and stuck the concrete for a second before bending. I pulled over and took it off, threw it in the bed and drove home in Front wheel drive. Since then ive driven it to the repair shop in Hayfork but they were swamped during the fires and after ordering the wrong drive shaft they told me they didnt have time for it. while driving it home the front drivers side bearing went out. I was driving slow and cautiously but i guess the weight and winding roads were too much. since then its basically just sat here. it starts on a dime abd you can even take it for a very short test drive but wouldnt recommend driving it home. plus the registration is a couple years behind so trailoring it is gona be your best bet. I’d think that a day or two at a shop and roughly a grand thrown at it and you’ll be back in business.
Only other real issue is that the headlights are missmatched. theres one LED and one basic bulb lamp that is missing the bottom turn signal part. Passed many cops and never saw lights so its just a matter or getting them matching eventually.

well that was supposed to be a quick little post giving a couple details and letting you know that i’ll give out more on request through text or email. but there you have it.
Any and all trade offers will be considered but think before you send please. trade would be ideal for me but cash works too. Asking $5,500 . less than 2k over what i just spent on a new transmission. so it goes.

Looking through the paperwork i found that the title was ripped at the crease and bottom half is currently not with it. a bit of a bummer so regardless, youll need to get a replacement. i posted a pic with the title i have that shows vin# and such.
