Beware of any ad that has under 120k And is over 10 years old( 10 years and older are exempt and on newer one MVD will mark not actual). They are having the miles Re Flashed and hoping your stupid and tell you the miles are exempt, and you won't find these guys after you realize you have been had.Do your homework or you will be scammed. Do you really think these cars all have under a 100,000 Milas or Miles, and they will only meet you at a store parking lot instead of their house. Take a picture of their drivers license and that it matches title. These are flippers from Chicago with pay as you go phones, They are dealers posing as for sale by owner. The only way to get them off Craigslist is to expose them.Most of their ads are in English and Spanish. They only deal in cash where there is no paper trail not even a loan check from your bank Because the bank will only make check out to name on title. I have received a bunch of emails from people saying they were scammed by these guys. They are now on Facebook market place also. Pay the $30 for a Carfax you will be money ahead. Ask for a vin number and then make sure it matches the car your buying also. I have had where they send the top half of a Carfax that doesn't show the miles.
