These trucks are built to last and I don't see any sign that this truck won't go for ever. If you have been looking for a diesel wagon, Suburban or Excursion you probably already know this.. Diesel Suburbans with the 6.5 Turbo Diesel are rare,, and sought after and hold their value. ( Only other one on craigslist is $9,900.00 ) Diesel Excursions by Ford need several factory problems fixed and sell for $15 to $20K.
This one will be an economical unit for you,, tow your 20' boat or trailer pretty easily, will climb a dune with the tires aired down like you won't believe,, and haul you and the kids and keep all your valuables safe and dry inside like a pickup cant do. It will haul 8' sheets of plywood totally inside the cab, It will haul an 11' ladder inside ( will be sticking up next you you in the front seat.. :) but will do it ! Try that with a pick up.
I have several extra items that I did mean to install that I will include with the truck,, Like a turbo boost gauge and a transmission temp gauge, a mechanical override for the electronic front axle engagement ( something I thought I would put on it so I could do low range in 2 wheel drive if I wanted. This unit does have the more reliable and preferred mechanically engaged transfer case for the 4x4 ). Four new tire chains included.
