Used Subaru WRX Needs Work for sale in Apex, NC
Vehicle Description
PROS:
1. Between 240k and 250k I installed four kyb struts with four group N tophats with 3/8 saggy but spacers in the rear. Every group N bushing under the car, except for the hard rubber bushings that came with new trailing arms. Group N motor and trans mounts and pitch stop. Perrin rear diff mount and subframe bushings. Whiteline front and rear sway bars with Whiteline end links. Radiator hoses, silicone ancilary hose kit, silicone turbo inlet, various other silicone hoses. 2016 STI intercooler, Fumoto oil drain valve.
2. The car also has a new alternator, (in the last couple months I think) with new accessory belts.
3. Car has only been sitting a month. Battery still good.
4. Comes with spare long block. I was told it was removed from a WRX at 180k and ran when pulled, but I can not confirm that.
5. Comes with spare driver's seat that is not ripped. The passenger seat cover was removed, washed, and reinstalled so it looks great.
4. Comes with COBB version one Accesport.
5. Stock downpipe is de-catted, a divorced wastegate pipe was added and it is wrapped. Stock up-pipe was de-catted long ago. Spare stock downpipe will come with the car.
6. Car is not all rusty underneath. Exhaust is rusty, but chassis is in great shape.
7. AC, heat, and cruise still work.
8. Also has stiffer steering rack bushings and shifter linkage bushings.
The CONS.
1. Well it's got 313580 miles on it. :)
2. Rust showing up at rear fenders, as is common with these models.
3. Paint/clearcoat is BAD all over the car. It's worse than it looks in the pictures.
4. Passenger front fender damaged.
5. Needs engine and clutch!
6. CD player is jammed. I accidentally fed it two CDs in the same slot.
7. One bad fog light.
