40,000 miles ago we
Added a new Chevy CHEVY 4L60E transmission back in 2016
Also had whole top end of motor professionally rebuilt
Motor and tranny has 40,000 miles

Rebuilt motor kit included all new head gaskets, waterpump, pistons , rod and main bearings, timing Chain, o rings,
valve springs
all new seals, brakes all around, including brake master cylinder, and brake booster and much much more , was not cheap !$
About 200,000 on body

Always ran great for us
It’s spent all of her life in the north west including in Oregon and Washington no other cities so no rust.

never let us down always kept up with regular maintenance like oil changes and regular tune ups.
4x4 works great, perfect for bad winters.
4x4 was Never really used much, but only when needed.

Transmission shifts great, strong up hills, and smooth on highways no issues.
Tires are about 2 years old.
I was no where near trying to sell my rig, but wife says it’s gotta go!
We recently moved back to Washington permanently from Oregon last year
And told her I just want one more year with it, so my years up and I just want to find a really good home.

This truck originally belong to my father
So there’s definitely some sentimental value to it.

The last three owners has all been family
Originally purchased by dad at power Chevrolet in Oregon.

I did purchase a brand new 2020 Chevy Silverado pickup which is an absolute beauty but for some reason this truck has always stuck out for me, it just drives and handles so well and has so much sentimental value.
Unfortunately we can’t keep two trucks around anymore.

I hate to watch it sit that’s why I try to at least drive it twice a week.
It starts up perfect every time and always gets the job done this is a true 5.3 Chevy Vortec that has been extremely well-maintained.

Clean title history airbags never gone off.
0 accidents.
Body is not perfect but looks good!
And what I mean by not perfect very minor scratches but nothing over 5 inches.
No dents. Very straight.
Inside is very clean!
No pets no smokers seats have no cuts!

This has the removable rear window option which is extremely cool option to have.

this could be a great work RIG or someone who just wants a nice solid Chevy.

Having the avalanche in rough winters is a life saver. 4x4 works great!

Power windows work as well with door locks and heater
Ice cold AC Serviced last summer and works perfect.
Inside is clean for most part , no pets non smoking family.
Not trashed in side! Very clean

This vortec 5.3 will for sure last as long as treated well, as it has been.

These avalanches are great trucks and becoming harder to find in good shape.

No mods or funny upgrades just a classic stock Chevy
Always oil changed and treated with love.
Major/minor issue is that the door handle for the tail gate is broken off,
I ordered a new door handle for tailgate it should be here within the next two weeks see pic.
so I would be more than happy to return this to whoever buys the truck as I would not need it The tailgate does open you just have to do it a certain way for now.
Has three tailgate covers so your tools and property could be invisible.

The second issue is I installed a touchscreen radio pioneer radio, from what I understand I installed it completely wrong so it won’t turn on if you could read the instructions from online and try to do it yourself that’s probably what I would recommend or just get a new radio system if you don’t like the one that’s in there now i’m not a professional @ installing radios for a ,
second I thought I was lol.
Other then that she runs and drives solid with no other issues
Overall this is a great rig for someone looking for basic commuter or a work truck. Either Way she’s solid!
