The not so good:
This Passat more than likely needs a new ECU (computer) or the current one needs to be sent away and fixed. The motor is misfiring really bad but I’m 90% sure it’s because the ECU is throwing all sorts of codes and causing the motor to run poorly. The car isn’t currently running because I did remove the ECU because my intention was to send it away to get repaired by a VW specialist, which is still my plan if the car doesn’t sell.
Great buy for someone who has another $500 to get the small issues fixed. Unless I put the ECU back in you will need to tow it or for an extra $50 I’ll drop it off to you.
