Vehicle Description
Synthetic motor oil since 100K.
New in last 12 months: Tires all around ($1000), rear break drums and shoes, rear break lines, new parking break cable, new fuel sender, both front hub assemblies, front windshield (bird), rear window (flying firewood), seven prong trailer hookup.
The body is in decent shape for its years. Rust on bottom of rear drivers door (repairable but not pretty). Rocker panels showing some rust (that stage that's not too bad but don't wait much longer).
I installed new steel frameworks under service body, replaced bed with pressure treated lumber, and reinforced the bumper with steel plate.
I patched rusted out areas with either 1/8th inch plate or 27 gauge galvanized and high quality silicon caulk.
Inspected till Sep. 2020.
