This is a direct from Japan, via Kobe/Osaka, micro van. These were originally work vehicles so they took their fair share of wear and this one shows it, but it also speaks to its history!

I recently acquired this locally as an import and quickly registered it out of state so I could drive it-in fact once to Santa Cruz and back. I absolutely love it, so why would you see it listed here? Well, I've been bitten by the 'import' bug and now I'm moving on to import another Japanese vehicle. So, this one will be for someone else to enjoy, and hopefully keep locally.

Since owning it, I've replaced some worn parts with new or slightly used parts from Japan. Yes, shipping is expensive and I know I'm not going to see all my money come back, but you'll be getting a great quality drive that needs little to no fuss to enjoy thoroughly.

Things to keep in mind about this vehicle: It can't legally be registered in California unless certified by the CARB emissions standards. So, no, you can't walk in to the DMV and get CA plates for it. My advice would be to keep it out of state, or to take it for off road use only.

Odometer reads approximately 161,000 KM

The good:
Runs very well.
Thermostat replaced.
Timing belt has been serviced (per Japanese service sticker)
Replaced steering center link and tie end rods for smooth ride and no high speed rattling/wobble.
Recent oil change.
Comes with spare tire.
Tires in good condition.
Stock hubcaps match.
Shifting bushings have all been replaced and restored.
Very clean interior.
Stock steering wheel, with second as a replacement if needed.
This is the very coveted Street EX HH4 model with recently serviced A/C and dual sunroofs. Most came with either/or.
Replaced sliding door hinge on driver's side so it closes properly.
Realtime 4WD

The (less good).
- Like most of these service vehicles nearing 30 years old from Japan, they have their fair share of wear.
- This one has rust holes around the base of the doors and in the rear wheel wells. This is a project that I'll let others continue to repair if they'd like.
- It arrived here with a few dents, most noticeable is the large dent on the driver's side hatch. Fortunately, this is only on the hatch and it doesn't affect the shell of the vehicle. Also, I have had a estimate for it to have paint-less dent repair, so that is another option besides replacement.
- At some point before I owned it, it received a pretty good respray, but the clear coat on the roof is showing wear.
- Passenger side door has some scratches.
