Condition and features:
Mechanically this car is very sound. It runs very well. Engine, transmission, air suspension and 4x4 all work great. The stereo has been replaced with an after-market unit (Dynaviv N7). It has bluetooth for phone and music, which the original did not have, and it has a USB outlet to charge your phone. I also have the original head unit, should you want to put it back. This car does have working, heated seats, both front and back. When the seats are folded down, there is a lot of room in the back. It is very capable off-road and in the snow: a great ski car. The on-board air compressor works great and hoses are included; this is great for bikes or filling up tires. With the turbo engine it is very quick. You’ll find it is one the funnest cars you will ever drive! Cosmetically, it has a few dents and scratches and some minor hail damage on the outside. On the inside, switches are worn and the sunroof opens but doesn’t always close. The front seats have leather patches on them. The back middle seat could use one also; it rubs on the buckle when the back seats are folded down. This car has not been smoked in. Overall the inside of the car is fairly clean. It does consume some oil. I haven’t worried about it since it’s been consistent; I just add a quart now and then when it’s low. I have a box of receipts and detailed information on the car (see pictures).
For my asking price I will also include an extra set of Porsche rims with snow tires on them (see pictures). They are in excellent condition.
Maintenance history: All the common issues with these cars have been addressed. This includes.
Coolant pipes have been replaced with aluminum.
Transmission seal failed due to coolant pipe failure. This has been replaced also.
Drive shaft bearing has been replaced.
Fuel pump has been replaced.
Battery has been replaced in the last month.
The transmission seal and drive shaft were done by a Porsche specialist in Corrales. The fuel pump was replaced by a local European car mechanic.
