Used Pontiac Vibe 2009 - Total Engine Seize (driven without oil) $1,650 OBO for sale in Asheville, NC

This is a great vehicle, one that I would not be selling if it weren't for the engine failure. Car is in great condition except for having accidentally been driven without oil (mechanic/work timing confusion) and now has a totally seized engine block.

For those that know: If you do your own work or have "a guy" then this vehicle is a solid find. If I did not work on the road and could allow the time I would be purchasing a used engine ($1,200 for great condition used engines online) and replacing the bad engine in this great car body. With a little time and sweat equity this vehicle will go for a long, long time and should have a resale value around $4,100.

This vehicle feels like driving a Subaru Crosstrek for half (or less) of the cost. So much internal space, handles incredibly well, built to last (all Toyota Matrix parts), the list goes on. It kills me to be getting rid of this vehicle but the timing is right and I needed more space for new work.
