You are looking at Aunt Janet’s Florida Retirement vehicle. Seriously. This was my aunt Janet's car she purchased before just moving to Florida.
This 2005 Corvette convertible has every available option possible which I believe is now called 3LT.
This has been her pride and joy for quite some time. This car had its own home in its garage that looked like your newborn’s bedroom would look like. The garage was decked out with Corvette swag and even the bathroom had corvette banners in them. lol. She loved that car, and it has not been touched at all. It is 100% stock with 19,724 miles on it as mentioned.
Let's make that 19930 miles now.lol.
She bought the car from her son at a car dealer in Kankakee il. My aunt Janet is the second owner of this vehicle. I never titled it just yet in Illinois, I just brought it back in January 2021, so it still has the Florida title with it. My situation has now changed and therefore I am selling this car instead of keeping it for a few years. Your First-born baby on the way will do that to most people…lol.
The car itself is in absolutely amazing condition inside and out. Most corvette owners are very picky as was my aunt. The car was always covered even in the garage. When it was parked outside for say lunch, there was a sun shield that was put in the window to reduce the interior heat there in Florida. I will also throw in the sun shield straight from Florida as well.
The headlights are perfectly clear and as we know if they are outdoors, they turn yellow, these are perfectly clear. The steering wheel and gear shift knob have no wear as well which is one of the first things that start to show signs of age. The seats and perfect no rips and almost no lines in the leather either, as my aunt was about 110 pounds, so the seat shows really no wear either. The driver’s seat is not even worn at the main contact point at the end of the seat which is very common for corvettes since you pretty much need to slide in and out of the car. lol.
The convertible top is also original and again is in perfect 10 in condition too. There is a strap that needs an adjustment made I found which I was planning to take in and have done here in Chicago. I already called and they said it is not a big deal and is a common issue with this car. But the top is power and goes up and down like it should, just need an adjustment to be perfect. (You can google it and see what I am talking about right away, it pops right up)
Although I do not have professional pictures and I am not a car salesman. Nor have I detailed it and oiled up the wheels, so it looks good in pictures. But when this car is cleaned and detailed, it will look as good or better than any other corvette anywhere online… It is pretty much New is what I would say!

I was planning to put the Z06 rims on it and 2 new rear tires, then send it to be detailed and keep it myself. The rear tires are still the original Goodyear Eagle F-1’s. there is still thread on them, but they are dry rotted a bit, so it needs them either way. The front tires are almost new.
As mentioned, my situation has now changed and therefore I am selling this car instead of keeping it for a few years.
It has been very meticulously cared for since and now only has 19,724 miles on it. I would love to just get a good price with someone who knows and appreciates the car. I was planning to send it to get fully detailed and then take good pictures etc. of it and then list it. There only 1 other Vette like this with low miles on the car guru’s website to compare it to and they are asking $31,000.
The first $27500 can take it away.
