Used Parts Car - 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for sale in Rapids City, IA
Vehicle Description
4.0 L 6-cylinder engine just blew 2 weeks ago, quoted $4000 to fix, so I'll be parting ways with this Jeep.
Things to note:
- Not running, engine is blown and will have to be swapped (oil was leaking into spark plug wells)
- Midwest rust is prevalent on underside of car.
- Persistent electrical problems (turn signals work 40% of time)
- Pretty much every dash light turns on
- Persistent power steering pump problem (starting to whine again)
- Transmission swapped at 180,000 (even after replacement, transmission has always shifted weird)
- 3 decent tires, 1 will need to be replaced soon
- Transfer case is leaking
- Leaks coolant
- Needs new shocks/struts
- Will need new battery soon
- No key fab
- Replaced Brake line 2 months ago
- Upgraded audio receiver (no bluetooth)
- New muffler 6 months ago
- Replaced fuel tank skid plate 3 years ago ($500 part new)
