Vehicle Description
I got the green Vette 10 years ago in Waco, and the silver one in January in Detroit, Michigan. I had it delivered by covered transport. I spent years looking for this excellent Collectors Edition.
Both run great, are very fast, and both are all original: paint, upholstery, wheels, tops, etc. I'm selling because I just have too many cars. When either car sells, I'll keep the other one.
The green Corvette has 24,000 original miles. I bought it when it had 12,000 in 2010. The silver Corvette has 9,000 original miles.
The green Corvette has the basic 350 engine, automatic transmission, power everything and a perfect beige colored canvass top.
The silver Corvette is the Collectors Edition. It has a larger engine and a manual 6-speed transmission. When you give it gas, each gear pushes you back into the seat. It comes with a hard top. It is a convertible hardtop.
The only thing I've done to the green car is new tires and battery. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it.
The silver Corvette I've done nothing to. It had a new battery and tires put on just before I bought it. It still smells new when you get in it.
I like the 1996 Corvette models, not just because they look great, but because it was the last year model for the C4. By the time the 1996s were made, the Corvette factory division had worked all the kinks out of the cars.
These are premium cars. They are not high-mileage, rundown heaps. Since new, they were pampered and garage kept. I doubt that either car has spent one night outside.
With the virus problem, I don't want to let a lot of people test drive these cars. If you're serious, so am I.
I'm a little negotiable on the price for both cars, but not much: $26,000 for the green car and $36,000 for the silver car.
Both are well worth it. You won't find cleaner low-mileage 96 Vettes like these cars anywhere in Texas. I've looked.
