RELIABLE. About 75k on rebuilt motor has had oil & filter change & lube every 3500 miles (fresh now). New HEI distributor, plugs wires. Strong block heater. Never used to plow. Needs exhaust pipes but mufflers are good. Wiring needs attention. Good 235/75/15 Hankook tires on OEM rims. Excellent spare.

THINK ABOUT THE PARTS COST: good used 5.7L motor - $450 - $650; good used TH350 Tranny $450-$700, $350 rebuildable core; Transfer case good used $450; Short (front) drive shaft $150 good used: Long (rear) drive shaft $175 new; rotors (Pair, new) $300;caliper & pad set $140-$150; rear drums $130 pair; hardware kit $30; pair wheel cylinders $35; shoes $35; HEI distributor (new), platinum plugs, best quality wires $165; block heater $40; Edelbrock 1406 Performer carburetor (tuning to engine is extra, remember) $300 used, rebuilt; Edelbrock manifold $350; Edelbrock valve covers & oil pan $75 good used; Edelbrock air cleaner housing $50. NONE of the above includes labor, of course.. TOTAL all above: $3,055 - $3,855 .. plus labor, not counting tuning the carb to the engine. "Never used to plow" means the front end is good (ball joint replacement is $300/side).
The heavy work is done. All that remains is the body work & wiring. Reasonable offers considered. A great project truck!
