Campbell Nissan of Edmonds checked the car of any problems and you can call them to verify. Just give them the VIN number. I definitely recommend this, as it has some issue which I consider minor although others may not.
When using a fast charger it gets 50 miles when charged at 80% of capacity but decreases to 40 miles when heat/AC or headlights used. But actual use mileage is approximately 30 miles because you end up leaving about 10 miles of charge before recharging the battery to 80% again. Otherwise you may get stuck.
I have never charged this at a home charger because I live in a condo, but when slow charging you should theoretically be able to increase the mileage 20% from the above numbers as you can charge to 100%, although this takes about 4 hrs or 8 hrs -from what the car dash says.
The car is currently at Campbell Nissan Edmond to replace it's steering rack at a cost of $2,000.
If you would like to purchase the car now, i will lower the price by $2,000.
As a first time EV driver I had severe 'range anxiety' to the point of panic attacks and driving super slow and upsetting drivers behind me, but I discovered an app called 'Plug Share' which locates chargers based on your location, assuming you have a data plan.
It is a comfy velour like interior with semi-comfy suspension but you'd be surprised how fast 30 miles passes and then you must wait another 30-45 minutes in front of a fast charger to sometimes find a car ahead of you who will charge their car 30 minutes first, although I believe the PlugShare app tells you which are available and which are in use, but doesn't tell you how many are waiting in line, and will you have enough range to make it to the other closest charger? Good thing you left 10 miles of expected range to head to another charger but make sure you turn off the heat and drive super slow till you arrive at the next charger. But during non-rush hour times, you should be able to find a charger available easily in my experience and not wait in line.
When you fast charge, the cost is approximately 25cents a minute so you end up getting about 15 miles for every $4.50 when charging to 80% although the Nissan dealers who only allow Nissans to be charged, charge a flat $6 fee to charge to 80% making $3 per 15 miles.
Then there is the concern whether radiation or other molecules are entering your body while the car is fast charging as you can feel the car vibrate almost like a high pitched buzzing noise. And others argue lithium harvesting takes too much water from poor people/countries.
Silver lining: you get to collect your thoughts and figure out things you never had time earlier to do. Or just watch YouTube/Netflix or play games on your phone, or talk to friends on the phone. The car also has SiriusXM.
I have had this car less than 1 month, and am uncertain whether to sell it because i think i've gotten accustom to it but thought i'd see if it would sell, although I would like the money. I am selling it for what I purchased it for. $6,455.
