Vehicle Description
This is an old drag car recently revamped with tradition in mind and hits the nail on the head in every way. This is an old glass body on a 60's tube chassis. Injected and magneto-fired 327, manual-shift T350, posi tri-five rear end. Magnesium 5 spoke Americans out back, magnesium 12-spoke 18” Americans up front. The real deal way around.
Chrome front end. Chrome rear end and wheelie bar. Heavy flake on the body. Engine turned firewall. Hand lettered by Paul Comeau. Every inch of this car has been touched and it absolutely looks the part.
Consistently runs in the 6’s and 108 +/- MPH in an 1/8th mile. Not only that, but it does it reliably. This is NOT a finicky car that requires constant tuning and repairing. It fires and runs flawlessly. Motor is well-built, extremely healthy and does not think of even seeping a drop of oil. Injection totally gone through by Hilborn and operates perfectly.
It has an alternator and an electric water pump, staging lanes are no problem for it whatsoever. Everything this car should do, it does flawlessly and without asking for anything in return. It’s a well-sorted car.
