We just purchased this project Jeep from the family of a local vintage army Jeep builder. A massive amount of work was done on this body off frame restoration. It has great body, frame & good paint work. It has new military style tires on its original 16” wheels. The attention to detail on the dash is the nicest we have seen. A beautiful job was done on the front & rear seats.

It comes w many new, never installed parts & other used parts & we are working on an inventory list. Not sure what is not included but we know it does not have its original hood or title. We do have a good used factory hood in our parts dept that is unfinished & it can go w the sale of our M38.

This is the perfect project for the Army Jeep builder guy to finish or use these items on your existing build & save much time & $$$. Everything we inspected seems to have been rebuilt including motor, transmission, brakes & more. We suggest you checking it out in person for best results & overall satisfaction but photos tell the story.

The military legend M38A1 Jeep was built from 1953-1971 & are highly collectable. Restored examples can range from $15k to $40k. It has a new reproduction military dash plates but vin # was never stamped. As mentioned, Jeep does not have a title but builders son said dad referenced it as a 1953.
