Used Ls swapped 1972 Chevy Nova - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... for sale in Presque Isle, MA

Vehicle Description

Serious buyers only. Located in northern Maine. I might be willing to sell my baby. I built this car with my own two hands, as well as a few of my buddies. It's a 72 that I bought from an auto recycler, it was one of those cars that probably should have stayed where it was. I'm glad I rescued it, and brought it back to life, but the time has come to put it up for sale as I would like to buy my first home, and could put the funds toward making that happen. I have a public album on my profile of the build that you can check out if you'd like. I don't have many interior pics, but trust me it's all brand new.

1972 Chevy Nova originally a 307 car, was originally golden brown metallic with a white top, and white interior. The entire body is basically brand new. It's now a matte forest green with black interior.

We replaced:
Full floor pan
Full trunk pan
Upper tail panel
Lower tail panel
Full quarter panels
Toe kick panels
Door skins
Fenders
Hood
Grill
Bumpers
Rear deck lid
Interior is brand new
Inside of car, as well as the trunk are covered in 80 mil Kilmat
Autometer sport comp 2 gauges
B&M stealth pro ratchet shifter
Brand new body wiring harness from American Auto wire installed.

Running gear:
2002 Lq4 bottom end
862 heads with extensive port work done to the intake/exhaust runners
Dorman knockoff Ls6 intake manifold
Fitech throttle body
Texas speed 228R cam
Hooker headers
3" stainless Hooker exhaust system with Flowmaster original 40's
Hooker swap system
Holley Terminator X max ecu/wiring
67-69 Camaro aluminum radiator from Northern Radiator
Tanks inc fuel injection tank
Walbro 255 pump
Aeromotive FPR
Fuel line is from Hotrod fuel hose
Ebay oil catch can
Front tires are a 205/65/15 on a 15x5 wheel
Rear tires are a 275/60/15 on a 15x8 with 5.5" backspace, and 1/4" wheel spacers.
Spare tires included as well

2001 4L80E transmission with most of a Transgo Hd2 reprogramming kit, I didn't drill the valve body, instead I installed a pressure relief valve in the pump.
Circle D "budget" converter
8.5" rear end, stock axles, with an Auburn Locker, and 3.42 gear.
Four wheel power disk brakes with stainless lines
Aldan American coil overs up front
Tubular front control arms
Caltracs traction bar setup out back
Rear shocks relocated to fit the tires
Fesler built L.e.d tail lights

The car runs, and drives pretty well, however the transmission is on it's way out. I'm pretty sure it has been since day one, I never rebuilt it, I just threw in the Hd2 kit, and ran it. First gear is getting soft when you do some "spirited" driving. Other than that it still drives just fine. It could use a real tune as well, I've just been running it on the learn mode that the Terminator X has.

The Lq4 was not rebuilt when installed, and one of the lifters clacks a little bit so they could probably be replaced at some point.
No heat, no AC.. because racecar. The windshield wipers do not function at this time. I went to install the motor, and snapped all the tiny bolts that hold it in place. I just put some rain X on the windshield which worked fine for me, you just have to reapply it every so often. Only downside is when you hit roughly 100mph the windshield wipers come up onto the windshield because the motor isn't there to hold them in place Lol.

The wiring for the Terminator system should be redone (cooling fans, relays etc), I'll be completely honest I rushed it so I could enjoy the car this past season. It's absolutely safe, but personally I would redo it so the engine bay looks a little cleaner.

I have right around 25k invested in this car not including the labor we put into it, but I am not asking that much simply because the car is not perfect, and because it needs the repairs that I have mentioned above. Personally I'd like to see 15k for it, but I am open to cash offers. Winter is here in northern Maine, so I'd like to see it go soon before the roads ice over, and I hope you have an enclosed trailer to haul it home with. If you buy the car, you get everything I have related to the car. **Cash only** no checks, no trades.

NO TITLE, but **Most** other states in New England accept a copy of the registration, and bill of sale, but that is up to you to find out to find out for sure. I can say that I have personally confirmed this with Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. I hope you read the entire ad so you don't have to ask questions that are already answered.
