I am 75, retired teacher, and I can honestly say this by far is the BEST COMFORTABLE RIDE that I have ever driven and I had many vehicles. Lexus, Toyota's luxury line is rated by Consumers Reports as one of THE best of all cars built! and, the LS400 is the flagship because TOYOTA put their very best engineers and designers to work tirelessly to produce the very BEST! As you can see, I am loyal Toyota buyer. I simply got tired of unnecessary repairs on other brands. I had planned to keep driving so I put on new tires and brakes; however, I upgraded to another LS400. This 98 starts, drives, and rides as it should. It needs nothing, I would not think twice about jumping in and head for Florida! Totally loaded with every option, does show typical wear with a few scratches and small dent on right fender. Thanks for looking and call Tom anytime! You would not be disappointed with this ride for the money! (ooh...windshield will be replaced soon) Purchased car from Phoenix Az in 2014 so NO RUST! 1998 with208K miles, timing belt and water pump etc. done at time of purchase with 152K. Timing belt good for another 56,000 miles. Even though the high miles is an important factor, this car has a pretty good reputation for going well over 300K! This car is in good condition simply because of the meticulous maintenance records!
