Vehicle Description
Its a Jeep sickness that I have had for about 30 years now. I custom build these jeeps and when there done, There done.
I then just enjoy them, but I crave projects so I sell them and move on to something new. My projects are always purposely built to be show quality, built right with proper driveline angles, centered axles, and perfectly configured suspension dynamics and overall balance in tire size, suspension lift, gearing and streetability.
Lets get to it,
Low miles jeep first female owner took great care of her. I purchased from Dealer. Did American expedition vehicles or AEV 2" lift with shocks. JKS 1" budy lift. Wanting to keep center of gravity low, and driveshaft angles minimised. And also to fit in garage as it just fits under. If I went with 37"s instead of the 35"s she will not fit.
These RUBI's come stock w 410 gears which are perfect with 35's. She is 6 speed with the factory lockers and sway bar disconnect at touch of a button. Heavy dury track bars and Tie rod. poison spider Skid plates underneath and also differential covers to protect the gears from rocky imacts which could end a ride quick.
Rock rails under the stock RUBI rails for double the protection.
Hurricane fenders, Steel bumpers front and rear with shackles and 9500 lb winch with synthetic line, not steel.
spot lights, Angry birds grille, Flowmaster Outlaw dual exhaust, Jet stage 2 module w 180 degree racing thermostat and Evans racing waterless coolant. K&N filter with AEV snorkel if the water got deep.
Creager wheels with 35" Iron Man tires, Created along with Mickey Thompson tires but branded differently.
Heavy Duty tire carrier and High Lift mounted. I have the matching spare but dont carry it because it blocks rearview mirror vision, and not much will flatten these tires.
So I am prob bally forgetting some things but you get the point of how its different then the average Jeep you find at the dealership. I do not offroad her. I have taken her offroad to test suspension flex and be sure flexing will clear fenders and articulate properly. This Jeep will crawl at super slow speed over and through anything. Leave it in gear and it crawls over everything without touching the pedal. You can get out and walk alongside faster then it crawls. When I have hit the trails I just steer and it does the rest. Steep hills with lockers engaged crawls near straight up, Its incredible, no tire spin.
Its just as good on the road and highway, You can set the cruise at 90 and smoothe, never wobbles or feels like some improperly built lifted vehicle could.
