In August I had plans to keep this car for 5 more years so I had a lot of work done to make it last and safe/fun to drive. Then we found out we were having a 3rd kid. So I bought a minivan.
Work done:
Powder coated Calipers
Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Carbon Fiber infused ceramic pads
Koni Shocks all around
2 new (sets) of Bridgestone tires.
Bridgestone Ecopia currently on with Anzio Wheels
Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 on the factory wheels that I plastidiped black over 100,000 miles ago. Plastidip can be easily removed if you desire.
Air conditioner compressor pulley off of a 2012 Honda Fit with 80,000 miles. (Factory part)
Coolant flush with factory Honda coolant
Cabin and Engine Air filters. (AEM and K&N washable ones)
Replaced serpentine belt with factory Honda belt
I did a headlight restoration. They look brand new again. And warrantied for the life of the vehicle from Sylvania
Battery was replaced in the spring
I just did an oil change yesterday on it. With factory Honda filter and full synthetic 0W20. Car comes with another filter.
It has a 1 1/4” hitch installed with a wiring harness so I could tow canoes and kayaks
All weather floor mats. Even the trunk.
It runs and drives terrific! I absolutely love this car and it shows. I am the second owner since 33,000 miles. Very fun to drive and great on gas.
2 bad things as seen in picture.
There is a crack in the front bumper plastic
I cracked a rear seat belt buckle in the seat. Needs replacement to work.
200,960 miles. It’s a lot, but you would never know it if you drove it, listened to it, watch it idle, started/stopped it, or the way it handles.
