This is my second Fusion and I love them.
An excellent example of an American car that’s every bit as good, or better than the Japanese.
I bought this a yr ago for a job that required tons of driving.
I put 20k mls on it and it never missed a beat.
My wife and I just returned from a 5 hr drive to NC and back in this car.
80 mph on cruise both ways including through the mountains.
Around town it averages 26 mpg.
On level ground at 55 mph it gets 40 mpg!
My job was calling on all the auto repair shops in a 5 county area.
Those guys were all fans of the Fusion and especially the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine in this one.
They had customers w/Fusions w/300k mls on them that were all orig!
I studied the various versions before even shopping for one.
A V-6 option gets worse mileage and a new water pump is $1k!
The 4 makes enough power to be a blast to drive, especially on its new low profile 18” tires.
It has gotten synthetic oil changes every 5k mls, has new brakes, tires AC svc, transmission fluid and filter, etc.
Has power moonroof, windows, locks, trunk release, drivers seat, new all weather floor mats, cruise, alloy wheels, trip computer, killer stereo, tinted windows etc.
I spent 3 months looking at Fusions before buying this one.
Traveled the state of Ohio.
Looked at newer, less mls but none were this clean.
You could eat off of the bottom of it and don’t think you could buy a nicer car for the money.
Need one for work, school etc?
Get in and drive w/o worry or a $300 car payment.
Cheap to insure too.
Has been garage stored.
