Used Ford C8000 Truck for sale in Nettie, WV

Vehicle Description

For Sale: 1989 Ford C8000 COE with Caterpillar 10.4L diesel engine, automatic transmission & air brakes. The truck was purchased new and the bed was purchased separately and added to serve as a hazardous materials truck for a fire department. All emergency lights and sirens still work... The bed is 100% aluminum with roll-up doors. “Big Red” was always been well maintained and has only 14,923 original miles on it. The tires are all virgin and are “like new”, as they have less than 400 miles on them. The truck is wired with electrical outlets, several overhead four foot LED lights & 2 Hannay Electric Reels (these reels cost $2,600 for the set). The electrical outlets can be powered in 2 ways. The first is by “shore power” (just plug a cord from the truck into any electrical outlet and it will supply power to everything in the back) or flip a switch and turn on the 75k diesel generator and let it do the work. The generator is diesel with electric start and runs off of the trucks fuel tank. It is “like new” and has only 126 hours of run time on it (the generator was $7,800 when it was purchased). The truck also has a air compressor onboard with 30 gallon tank and 100' of air hose. It is hard wired to run with just the flip of a switch after the generator is turned on. We purchased the truck and modified it to do roadside sales of our Beef Jerky & Hot Sauces, but have to give it up due to the failing health of our only CDL licensed driver.
