1993 AM General Humvee (M998) - In any city, you can find a few of these former military HUMVEEs on the street. Many are straight from the government surplus auction, have unknown history, and come with "off-road only" titles. We mention this so you realize that when you seek to buy the cheapest M998 on the market, don't be surprised when you end up with a huge headache on your driveway. What we are offering here is a solid, nicely restored, and great running example. The interior features new seat cushions, cup holder, and a cell phone holder that make it far less utilitarian than most Humvees. The powerful diesel motor fires up easily and does great on the road. Although you obviously won't see the best gas mileage, we wouldn't hesitate to drive this Humvee any distance. Some recently restored mechanical items include; power steering pump, blinkers, tail lights, turn signal module, turn signal switch, starter motor, and engine thermostat switch. It also features an alternator conversion with a Delco 21SI alternator. The original set up was left intact in case the new owner wants to convert back to a Niehoff unit. A complete list of features include; 6.2L Diesel, Auto, 4WD, Two Door Troop Carrier, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tow Package, LED Reverse Lights, Grille Guard, Short Snorkel Extension, Solargizer (solar charger), Optima Batteries, 16.5" Steel Wheels, and Thick BF Goodrich Baja T/A 37x12.5 R16.5LT Tires!
