Vehicle Description
A beautiful 1979 White 4 door Lincoln town car Collector's Series (400cid engine) with 57777 miles with the classic dark blue pin striping along the side of the vehicle up for sale from a Lincoln Continental collector. Stored in an air condition building in Brooksville Florida warehouse with other classic Lincolns. An electric dehumidifier is used to keep the interior and trunk area free of moister. This Classic car is driven less than one thousand miles per year. Has many oil changes and oil filters every 3k miles, as well as tire rotations. SAE50W oil with zinc and Dur-a-Lube is used for these old classic cars and hot weather in Florida. The car is regularly maintenance for on the road events when needed. Added coolant temperature gauge inside for a quick look to see the operating engine temperature. As you use the cruise control to ride the toll or freeway the engine is purring away as you are listening to your Bluetooth radio with Pandora or Spotify from your Bluetooth cellular phone hands free or talking on your phone thru the car's radio speakers. The vehicle has an outside illuminated outside temperature gauge by the right-side driver mirror as you see the outside Florida temperature hit 90 degrees. You are comfortably inside with the AC blowing out cold air thru the vents or if you tough you can open the top shade and open the power sunroof and enjoy the fresh air cooling the interior. The vehicle has a new radiator, new spark plugs, spark plug wires and insulated boots over the plug wire plug ends to keep the hot exhaust temperatures away from the spark plug wires. The engine has two see thru gas filters, so you know you have clean fuel going to the carburetor, new brake pads, new tires, transmission filter, gasket and transmission oil replaced, and wire meshing placed above the control arms to allow cool air to flow thru the engine compartment, blue silicone heater hoses replace the normal black heater hoses. The blue hoses will take more hot coolant temperatures and not deteriorate as the black hoses. A 160 degrees thermostat is used to keep the engine a little cooler in the hot weather. There is a battery cutoff so you can turn off the power in case the radio or interior lights are left on. Hard to see if the door is closed with the tinted windows, tinted windows save on the ac cooling the interior and help from the Florida sun rays fading the comfortable soft Kasman II luxury cloth edition. The cabin lights have been replaced with LED bulbs; it gives it a nice white hue instead of the yellow haze bulbs of the day. Who wants the plastic lens to burn from the old fashion bulbs? Behind the big sunroof on the roof ceiling are the twin map lights. With the Collector's Series you have the gorgeous coach lamps between the front and rear doors pillars a feel of luxury that await you to be driven where you want to go.
