Used 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for sale in Edmond, OK

This is a daily- driver-ready Mach 1 with every upgrade made for drivability and convenience while not sacrificing any of its originality or stock Mach 1 appearance. It is fast, tight, totally reliable, and definitely turns heads. Ready to drive, nothing lacking. The interior, including carpets, are spotless and in excellent condition. Prices are down because of covid so take advantage of the lower price while you can.

The following are things I’ve replaced since 2016 when I flew to Connecticut to buy this Mustang. I had it shipped back to OKC.

New Rebuilt engine with oversized 4bbl Holley carburetor with increased HP compared to old engine. This car really flies, almost scary fast.

New A/C, starter, heater core, hoses, turn signal switch. New wipers and sprayer work great.

Large aluminum electric dual fan radiator and larger output alternator were necessary because of increased horsepower after engine was rebuilt. New battery and new high quality shocks front and back.

This section was done by previous owner prior to my buying the car four years ago. I have only added 2000 miles during this time. His thick file with receipts and even Mustang manuals included.

New high-flow dual custom exhaust with tuned headers and Flowmasters with equalizer pipe sounds throaty and mean but still drivable. Transmission in vehicle now upgraded to modern AOD 4-speed automatic for excellent power and gas-mileage (lower RPM at freeway speeds). Rack-and-pinion power steering replacement kit, with complete front-end-control overhaul (a $7k upgrade) installed just last month.

Electronic ignition. Starts on a dime; New battery, fuses, headlight, and turn signal switches, triple bulb tail-light drop-in upgrade. Relatively new master-cylinder and rear brake cylinders. Stock front disc brakes, all fresh. High dollar brand new shocks and tie-rods and bushings. Added complete undercoating for protection and sound-deadening. No rust anywhere to speak of. Clean trunk, spare, jack. Bluetooth and USB ready high-power deck that looks completely stock with 6x9’s in rear dash and working stereo in-dash speaker upgrade plus tweeters. Self-powered compact subwoofer in trunk hits hard. No rattles at all. Custom alarm system with GPS tracking capability.

Problematic 1969 window glass mechanism replaced new with same stock tint but 1970 style bolt-in glass. Brand new windshield with no pits. American Racing rims with wide stance and wide/low profile tires matching front/rear – maxed for the space. Various new trim parts- all complete. Carpet and interior in great shape. Rear window louvers, new kick-panel interior chrome and hood-pins all new. All signals and maker lights operational. Added aftermarket seat heaters with switches hidden in stock console. Added small steering-column tach. All dash-lights, gauges and controls work.

Original-style Mach 1 paint and striping (car was originally gold with white interior). Paint and different serial numbers are the weakest thing on this car, otherwise this should go for between $100-125,000. The paint still looks great and shows zero rust, but it should be redone in a few years to car show quality. Original air conditioning reconditioned, blows cold. The car has over $60,000 invested in it withing the past 2 years but with 4 kids I need to focus elsewhere. I have the original rims/caps with newish tires stacked, ready to go.
