This dark heart is a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 built by Borello Racing Engines. They enhanced and fortified the motor with a full roller setup, 9.5:1 compression, Eagle forged rotating assembly. It inhales deeply with an electronic fuel injection system feeding an Edelbrock intake. And long tube headers help it exhale with added power and authority from the X-pipe dual exhaust. It even has all the right supporting components: everything from the Optima red top battery mounted in the trunk, to Entropy four-core aluminum radiator with Spal fans. The full power package is said to be dynoed at 423 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. That's a ton of muscle. So the 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission was built by Phoenix Transmission to take up to 800 hp, and you get full control over it thanks to steering wheel paddle shifters. As you look underneath the car, you see more upgrades that prove this one was built to handle its power. This includes a Chassisworks gStreet pro touring front subframe, a rear Chassisworks gLink four-link unit, and adjustable Varishocks all around.
