Used 1965 Ford Falcon for sale in Lithia Springs, GA
Vehicle Description
This may have been the debut year for the Mustang, but the Falcon in premium Sprint trim was really stealing some of the thunder from its close sibling. After all, a pillarless hardtop version like this has a steeper rake in the rear that adds some very sporty style. And the full-length trim with white insert looks like a sharp arrow pushing this coupe forwards. Plus, details like the front overhang and afterburner-style taillights made the whole package quite stylish. The bumpers and brightwork look original but shining, and the factory-correct Rangoon Red has aged to match. So while you may decide to make some improvements down the road, we already really like how this one represents an interesting time in Ford history, and does with a very stock style.
The exterior is red with white accenting, and those colors return inside. You can see there was a nice investment in the right fundamentals later in life, including a newer headliner, nice carpeting, and bright white upholstery. While the style of this coupe is absolutely vintage - right down to the working AM radio - it also loves to keep you comfortable. That's why you have features like front bucket seats with a center console in-between.
Another great parallel to the Mustang is that the '65 Falcon was available with the mighty 289 cubic-inches V8. Since this is a C-code coupe, we're especially glad to still have the proper V8 under the hood. The bright blue block even has the look of a fresh respray. In fact, this motor runs so strong we wouldn't be surprised if there was also a solid investment in mechanical maintenance during the same time. More than just a good motor, the power steering and smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission make for a great anytime driver.
This is the premium Falcon Sprint that really likes to offer the style and substance of a driver's classic. So don't miss this deal, call today!
