I bought this car from the second owner who had owned the car since 1963. This was considered an early muscle car before the GTO. It is luxury, but also has lots of muscle as it is fashioned with bucket seats and a console with a floor shift. This unique 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire Convertible has a 394 cubic inch factory high performance engine - 10.25: compression ratio - 330 horsepower. It has power windows, power steering, and power breaks. It also has four new tires. This car has a red and white, two-tone leather interior (all original). The exterior was repainted once. It has 82,366 original miles and has been in storage for many years.
History: 1961 Oldsmobile only offered one body style, the Starfire convertible. Only 7,600 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire convertibles were ever produced, making this top of the line Oldsmobile a very rare find.
