Power was supplied from an overhead-valve six-cylinder engine displacing 223 cubic-inches and offering 120 horsepower. An optional overhead-valve V8 with a 272 CID displacement brought horsepower up to 160 bhp. With the four-barrel 'Power Pack', horsepower rose to 182 bhp.
