Vehicle Description
EXTERIOR: I think the body is exceptional. The car is very straight and the body gaps are excellent. The doors and trunk click shut. It's smooth everywhere, even along the bottom. The bright yellow paint is smooth and glossy. All the chrome and stainless trim bright, shiny and straight. The glass is all real nice, it's a new windshield. New weather strips. Those are 18 inch US Mag chrome wheels with performance tires.
INTERIOR: It has been completely reupholstered. The seats match the door panels, the cushions feel nice and firm. The headliner and visors have been redone, the dome light works. In front of me is a nice looking dadh full of billet trim, a polished tilt column with a deluxe steering wheel and a retro stereo. Down below is a set of white Sunpro gauges and a tachometer. The Vintage Air controls look like the original but are electric instead of cables. It has a ratchet B&M shifter on the floor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 350 is upgraded with an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, a set of headers and an MSD ignition system. It runs great, fires right up and runs smooth. There is a fair amount of chrome under the hood of this car. The power brake booster and master are chrome. The valve covers, air cleaner, alternator, horns and fan shroud are also chrome. The whole engine bay is painted gloss yellow. It has a Vintage Air heat and a/c system. It also has power steering. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool. It has a modern electric wiper system.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk compartment painted yellow. It has a rubber mat, a white wall tire for a spare. The battery is relocated to the trunk and it is in a battery case.
UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor is clean, it has a high torque starter. The trans is a Turbo 350 automatic with an aluminium pan. The dual exhaust looks recent. It has disc brakes in front. Overall the floors are solid.
This is a comfortable 55 Chevy that is ready to use and cruise. You will turn heads doing it too!
