1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Aero Sedan

Under the hood is a 1967 327 V8 Corvette motor with Bowtie heads and 10:1 compression. Check out the table below to get a compete break down of the motor. The car has 31,350 miles on it since the last rebuild which included the drivetrain. Paired with the engine is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with 2400 stall torque converter, B&M shift kit and new trans cooler. The front clip is out of a 1972 Nova and incorporates power disc brakes. All of the suspension components are from a 72 Nova as well as the chassis and rear differential with 2.78 gears. The front spindles have been dropped 2 inches but the stock spindles also come with the car. The car has air shocks in the back and custom made shock mounts. The electrical system is functioning properly and utilizes a 18 circuit Haywire kit. The fuel tank holds 26 gallons and is stainless steel vented. It is filled through a 75 Camaro gas door on the rear fender. It gets about 24MPG on the highway and is a great driver. It was built to be driven and is a turn key car you can take anywhere.

The interior is just as cool and custom as the rest. It is done in a combination of Blue, Orange and Grey. The front bucket seats are out of a 89 Ford Probe and are adjustable. It has seat belts throughout for 5 people. The dash features custom flame inserts that were really well done. The Bitchin Dash is painted in an Orange with heavy metal flake that suits the car perfectly. It is topped with new white faced Autometer gauges, Vintage AC/Heat, and DVD/CD/AM/FM player. The AC has just been fully serviced and works great. In front of the driver is a new tilt column topped with a Lecarra leather wrapped steering wheel. other cool custom features include the bowtie rear view mirror, bowtie LED 3rd brake light and a backup camera.

The car is a proven winner and has won numerous awards dating back to the 90's. This includes many best of show and best paint awards. It has passed a NSRA 23 safety inspection and falls into the ISCA full custom sedan class due to the number of body modifications. It was even used in a Barrett Jackson commercial for Hot August Nights in 2015! You will also note the dash has been signed by Dave Kindig a well known car builder and host of the television show Bitchin' Rides.

From front to rear this car is a well built work of art. You see a lot of customs like this that aren't ideal drivers but that is not the case here. It is great to see a well built car that runs great AND has the Cali custom look.
