Vehicle Description

Please take a good look at this large barn find 1927 Packard Model 4-26. This is owned by a senior in Tennessee who has several cars and looks to get his affairs in order. This is an all-original car with a flathead 6 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission. Prior owner added an electric fuel pump to assist starting, but once started hums like a singer sewing machine! Vehicle is 2-tone blue and nicely done considering it's vintage. Vehicle is amazingly solid and straight with no rust or collision damage evident. Starts easily, does not smoke and drives as a '27 did in its day. The owner advised that the 'grab bar' on the back seat was an overcoat bar that reportedly came with 2 overcoats for the driver & passenger-long since gone (unverified). Roof rubber is in good shape. The Mohair-type interior is intact. Even the correct vases(s) that adorned the pillars in the back seat are still present. Only the left rear door flat glass has a small crack in one corner.
