SUMMARY:
This car belonged to my father and I purchased it from him. Car has never belonged to anyone else. Car is very light and runs consistent with current SBC. The Engine Combo was machined, balanced, and had all clearances performed by HOTARD RACING ENGINES. My Father and I assembled the entire engine after his precise work was completed. Engine was designed with 3 goals. Consistency, Longevity, Low Maintenance. The motor could be making more power, but I don’t see the purpose of pushing the limits for the intended use of bracket racing. I leave the starting line at 4200 RPMs/ Shift at 6400 RPMs. Engine has never seen past 7100RPM. Car is ready to go down the track today. Add fuel (methanol) and go racing. Spend less time working on car and more time enjoying friends and family at the track. Car runs 5.20s – 5.30s in 1/8th mile at 127- 131 MPH on current setup.
