The Nova is a 1971 2 door Coupe with what is believed to be 76K original miles. The car was sold new at Capitol Chevrolet in Hartford, CT and was discovered in the original owner’s garage in Hartford in 2017 after being off the road since 1990. I purchased the car in May 2019 and am the second registered owner. The car has the original small-bock V-8 with a rebuilt Turbo Hydra-matic 350 automatic transmission. Original manual steering and brakes have been upgraded to power assisted with 15in wheels/tires with most of the Ground Up parts catalog thrown at it mechanically to put it back on the road. Has all original sheet metal…still even has original GM keys with key blank!

The car was transformed into a Death Proof Nova tribute car in June 2019 and has covered approximately 6K miles touring parts of US and Canada since. In case you’re unfamiliar, Death Proof was a 2007 Quentin Tarantino movie starring Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike and the Nova was the hero car in the movie (now streaming free on Amazon Prime Video). The car was built by Don’s Speed Shop in Newington, CT…New England’s oldest speed shop…and comes with a folder full of receipts for parts and professional labor.

The perfect car for the Death Proof movie fan or for someone who’s looking for an interesting turn-key classic car they can spend their time driving…not washing and polishing.
