Just when I said that my car wouldn’t die, it finally showed signs of mortality as the transmission started to slip on me yesterday on my way home (and at such a critical moment in the Angeles Crest Fwy). That being said, as great of a condition inside and out that this car is in albeit at 214K miles, it will require transmission work soon. I’m dramatically reducing the cost from $5K to $2,500 as 1) honest is the best policy; 2) I can’t, in good conscience, sell a car that I know will need repairs soon; and 3) avg cost for transmission work is roughly $2,400. This may be a perfect project car for you or you could do like I always wanted to do and swap the transmission and change it to a manual 5 speed! Skies the limit and now you have the perfect platform and right condition.

Up for sale is my 1998 SC300. This is arguably the cleanest SC300 you’ll find on the streets as I get complimented on it everywhere I go. In fact, all my friends say I’m crazy for letting it go! There are a few different types of SC owners: drift, drag, stance, VIP, and stock. I had aspirations of slamming the car with a nice set of wheels but the car looked fine lowered and I kept everything else stock. Because of that, I’ve NEVER had any mechanical issues and daily ‘d this car over 200K miles. Motor is still very strong and capable. Most other SC’s are beat up with a lot less miles. I’ve babied this thing and I’m the 3rd owner. The first owner was an elderly lady who garaged the car. The 2nd owner did the same and took very good care of the car. Most of the tasteful mods were done by him. I have records of everything that was done to this car. This car was taken care of very well.
It’s time for me to sell it because I need a dad car big enough for my family and a two door isn’t quite cutting it (although I will say that the back seat is MUCH bigger than my previous 240SX). This car will last forever, in fact, I was waiting for it to poop out on me before selling but the 2JZ (non turbo) motor is really bulletproof.

- Motor is COMPLETELY STOCK
- Replaced Water Pump
- Replaced Radiator
- Replaced timing belt and hoses
- replaced rear wheel bearing
- Supermade HID headlights (IMO some of the cleanest I’ve seen)
- Pioneer Head Unit with Apple Car Play and Bluetooth

Things I Love about my car:
- seats are plush. When I get off of work and get into my car it’s like reclining in a sofa
- Turn heads daily
- Timeless design (this thing looks better than most of the newer cars out there right now)

Things I Hate about my car:
- soo plush and comfy that it drives like a boat
- Backseat doesn’t fold down (for my surfboards)
- It’s NOT a manual
- the exhaust manifold needs to be removed to do any maintenance under the hood.
I’m often in the South Bay or in the SFV so I could potentially meet there as well.
