Used Classic Dodge B-100 Bowling Ball Sleeper Van - - by for sale in Santa Barbara, CA
Vehicle Description
I installed new E-3 spark plugs a few months ago, and checked all cylinder compression ( 110 +/- 10psi. ) so the engine (LA 360) will run strong for a long time. I use only premium parts, and this Van has many inc. Edlebrock intake & 1406 Carb ( with tuning kit ). I fully insulated all the walls & doors with reflectix insulation after painting them with industrial Rust-Oleum. I recently sealed & repainted the roof using "Hydrostop" commercial flat roof system: primer, paint & fabric. My bondo work leaves a bit to be desired, but I'm no artist- I just do what needs to be done to prevent leaks. This would be a great local Van for a person or couple to go to drive ins and campgrounds in. Recent Front end rebuild & Alignment, radiator, water pump & timing chain set. Many other parts mostly from Summit Racing. Clean Vehicle, clean title, sold as is- which is pretty nice.
I've only put about 5,000 miles on this van the past 3 years ( in the summer- it stays in the back of my carport in the winter) as I rarely leave town due to injuries, old age + Covid, and I have three other Vintage vehicles to drive + maintain, so one or two must go and the "Bowling Ball" ( red metal flake in the clear coat ) is my least used now. It comes with two shop manuals and many spare ignition parts, spare starter etc.
